Pastor Wilson has been a believer most of his life. However, a very
special relationship with Christ began in 1983 that completely changed
the direction of his life. For the next three years, God took him
through an intense study in the word. In 1986, God moved him to Maranatha
where he became very active in church leadership, Lay ministry and
preaching, teaching and pastoral counseling. He is gifted to teach
the word with clarity and simplicity. He has been teaching on family
and relationship principles for over eighteen years.
He has continued to serve God in many ways such as
teacher, Elder, Christian Education Director, and Board member for
the church. God called Pastor Wilson into full time ministry in 1996.
He is also President of Dottie Wilson ministries, Inc., (which was
started by his late wife) it is a Non-profit Evangelistic Outreach
Ministry designed to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, shelter the
homeless, and help heal the broken-hearted. Bishop Wilson is involved
in various God-centered community organizations.
Pastor Wilson is a retired Air Force Chief Master Sergeant,
a retired manager of a fortune 500 company, a graduate of the University
of Maryland, and attended graduate school through Frostburg University.
He recently married Verna Wilson and between them they have ten children,
and seventeen Grand Children. He has dedicated his life to the cause
of Christ, by helping others. God has used him in a wonderful way
in helping restore many broken families and healing hurting lives
through pastoral counseling. His greatest desire is to see souls saved
and lives permanently changed for the glory of God. "To God Be
the glory"
