Homework # 5 for this week

The Feast of Unleavened Bread ended last week and my 21 Day Oxygen Therapy Cleanse Program still continues. I thought it would be appropriate to have everyone write up something on how these Fall FeastsDays: Blowing of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, the Feast of Booths and The Feast of Ingathering have a prophecy about the Messiah's 2nd Coming. All of the Feast Days with a detail presentation of their Fulfillment are on DVD if anyone wants to purchase and study them.

1) How can the Blowing of Trumpets a Fulfillment in prophecy?

a) How can it be pointed out in the symbolic services?

b) How does it relate to time and event?

2) How can the Day of Atonement be Fulfillment in prophecy?

a) How can it be pointed out in the symbolic services?

b) How does it relate to time and event?

3) How was the Feast of Booths a Fulfillment in prophecy?

a) How can it be pointed out in the symbolic services?

ANSWERS

This is the 1st reponse I received on 4-17-10:

Leviticus 16 and 23:23-44 describe the details of the Fall Feasts of Yahweh.  On the 1st day of the seventh month, Yahweh declares a Sabbath and calls for  Israel to have a memorial blowing of trumpets.  This special Sabbath was a call for Israel to prepare their hearts and minds during the next nine days for the Day of Atonement which was to occur on the 10th day of the seventh month.

On the Day of Atonement, which is also declared by Yahweh as a Sabbath,  Israel was to afflict their souls for the sins that they committed throughout the year and be reconciled or brought back into harmony with Yahweh.  Those who choose not to afflict their souls or decided that work more important on this special Sabbath day were cut off and destroyed.  They would bring to the high priest a ram and two goats that would be used for the special atonement service.  The ram was sacrificed to Yahweh specifically for the sins of the earthly high priest and his household.  Lots were casts on the two goats to determine which one would be sacrificed to Yahweh for the sins of Israel and which would be used as the scapegoat.

The atonement service began with the killing of the ram.  The high priest would then enter into the holy place of the sanctuary with the blood of the ram and collect burning coals and incense from the altar in front of the veil and go into the most holy place.  The smoke from the burning coals would cover the mercy seat of Yahweh that contained the Ten Commandments and protect the high priest from death.  He then sprinkled the mercy seat seven times with the blood of the ram.  This process was repeated using the blood from the goat.  The blood of the ram and goat was also sprinkled seven times on the altar of burnt offerings that was in the courtyard of the sanctuary.  This entire process was completed to ensure that atonement (the complete cleansing of sin) was made for the high priest, his household, the entire congregation of Israel as well as the sanctuary furnishings.

After the blood ceremonies were completed, the high priest then took the scapegoat and placed his hands on its head and confessed the sins of himself and the entire congregation of Israel.  This would symbolically transfer the sin from the people and the sanctuary to the scapegoat.  After the confession was completed, a strong and physically fit man was chosen to take the goat and release him outside of the camp into a region of the wilderness that was not inhabited.

Five days later on the 15th day of the month, Yahweh declares another Sabbath to begin the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles.  This was a seven day celebration where the first and last days of the feast were declared as Sabbath days.  During all seven days, Israel was to prepare offering meals, dwell in booths made from healthy large tree branches and continuously rejoice in Yahweh for his forgiveness and complete removal of sin from their lives.

Just like with the Spring Feasts, Yahweh did not want Israel to forget the significance of the Fall Feasts and the role that they play in the understanding of his plan for salvation.  This is why he commanded that, "it shall be a statue for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings."

So what does this all mean to the fulfillment of prophesy?  Just like with the earthly services, Yahweh plans to blow his spiritual trumpets to the world to prepare all hearts and minds for the ultimate great Day of Atonement when Yahshua returns for those who chose to allow Yahweh to completely perfect them by afflicted their souls.  Those who choose not to allow Yahweh to completely afflict their souls will be cut off and destroyed.

Revelation chapters 8-20 describes in detail the trumpet messages that are sounded to warn the world that the Day of Atonement (Yahshua's second coming) is near.  Yahshua warns us in Rev 16:15 that, "Behold, I come as a thief.  Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walks naked, and they see his shame."  Seven trumpets are sounded bringing death and destruction only to those who choose not to watch and keep their garments by taking heed to Yahweh's warning in Rev 14:7-11 and 18:1-5.

Upon the Day of Atonement when Yahshua returns in his full crown and glory, He the strong and fit man, the high priest of Yahweh will place his hands on the scapegoat "that "old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which decieveth the whole world (Rev 12:9)" and will bound him into the bottomless pit for a thousand years according to Rev 20:1-3 in a land (just like the Day of Atonement in the earthly sanctuary system) that is not inhabited.  It is also during this time (at the last sounding of the trumpet) that the first resurrection of the dead in Yahshua occurs then the 144,000 those who "are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet Yahshua in the air: and so shall..ever be with Yahweh (1 Thess 4:16-17)."  Those who are destroyed by trumpets and the seven plagues as well as all those who died in Satan since the beginning of time will remain in the grave during Satan's 1,000 years of imprisonment.  When the 1,000 years are finished then they will be resurrected and Satan released from his prison to meet their final day of judgment when they all (to include the beast and false prophet) shall be placed into the lake of fire and forever destroyed.

Many will be called and choose to serve Yahweh just before the last day trumpets are sounded, but Yahweh will allow them to die preparing the way for the 144,000 who will be alive and perfected during the last day events.  These 144,000 are the ones who are sealed with the name of Yahweh and will choose to allow Him to afflict their souls.  They will not be effected by the trumpets of destruction.  These are the ones who will dwell in booths and celebrate the prophetic feast of tabernacles rejoicing in Yahweh with the new song that they only are allowed to sing.  Why?  Because they are ones who, "were not defiled with women, for they are virgins.  These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.  These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto Yahweh and to the Lamb.  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of Yahweh (Rev 14:4-5)."  These 144,000 are the patient final remnant saints that the dragon makes war with because they choose to, "keep the commandments of Yahweh, and the faith of Yahshua (Rev 14:12)."  These are the ones who truly recognize the goals and objectives of the deceptive satanic systems of both the sea and earth beasts of Rev 13 and the harlot woman of Rev 17 and choose to come out of Babylon.
